Virtual training doesn't equal the real thing. Like I said before, no one knows what they are going to do until the bullets start flying.
And they should be trained enough to hit a moving target 5‘ in front of them in a high stress situation without firing 20 shots.

I noticed that there was an object being thrown out and was red circled during the pursuit, you only get a blurry glimpse of it but my first thought was that it was a shotgun. ????? Look close.

I've seen competitors with many years of experience at the national level miss 18 x18 targets at 10 feet when the timer beeps. Myself included.
Maybe you should go to the training place Bugzilla goes to. You would be able to hit every shot from any distance, even if you were being shot at or had been shot.

His momma has a GoFundMe set up and it makes him look like he was a saint, murdered by the poleece for no reason.

I thought you may be joking......but nope! The go fund me is there.

He could also light up an intersection.

I was going to donate $5 so he could get a belt to hold up his pants, but he probably doesn't need it now.

Not every LEO has a rifle or shotgun available, and those of us that do don't always have them accessible in the passenger compartment of our vehicle. And even if you do have it immediately accessible, you don't always have time to get it out and get it ready to fight.
If you think the general public whines when a LEO goes up with a pistol drawn just wait to see what happens when they go up with a shotgun or AR. :ar15:

Out of curiosity, why is that? I would think as society gets more violent every LEO would want a long gun readily accessible. Is it just personal preference, or is it assigned by the department? Is it a transporting arrestees thing? And if you did have a long gun, why would you not want it with you in the front?

    Just something I’ve always wondered.

IPD and MCSO didn't get rifles until after Jason Baker and Jake Laird were killed. At first we were issued DRMO rifles but now have to purchase our own. We can still be issued Remington 870s. We don't have them in the passenger compartment because the department won't buy racks for them.

Thank you. Nice to know our taxes go to researching monkey **** but we can’t provide our law enforcement with equipment that makes them, and us, safer.

We need a donation thread for ingo LEO who needs a rack for their rifle.

It would be interesting to know what the eyewitness' version of events was prior to the camera footage being released. Just a hunch, but I bet it wasn't like what we saw on tape.
