Only been to Atterbury twice. Once with a moderate sized group of friends, one of which who was with the IMPD at the time, and another time because I was in the area and needed a few used 12ga hulls. Don't think I'll ever go back alone for several reasons, none of which have anything to do with refugees.

Yup, that's another big enclave. I think Dearborn and the Twin Cities are number one and two in Muslim immigrant population, Somalis being the bulk of them. Weird place for desert people to settle, but IIRC there was some bureaucratic reason for it dating back to the 80s or 90s. Once the first community was in place, State kept settling more people there because there was an existing community.

I dunno if Afghans get along with Somalis, but I would assume State is going to route most of them to those cities and I don't think many of the Afghans have the resources or family already in the US to say no and go somewhere else.
It is ironic. People from the hot climate dumped in one of the coldest places in the US

    .
I think if it gets closed it will be because someone in leadership will be concerned over the "optics" of having an active shooting range near where the refugees are. It really makes no sense, but I can still see it being closed temporarily.

Should one need to be a U.S. Citizen to buy a book or petition his government?
Not talking about books here. Should a Iranian immigrant who has been here 6 months be able to buy a AR15...Sorry but I say no. Before I'm accused of being anti immigrant. My Mom Grandmother Aunt And 2 Uncles are all immigrants to the USA. Just my opinion. Once they are US Citizens and pledge allegiance to the flag then sure...Just my opinion though.

You have to be a US Citizen to buy a firearm. Dont think just a green card or temp visa will be enough. I'm sure Biden will fast walk the process though. If I were to sell something which I rarely do.
I'm not selling anything to recent immigrants. Sorry...my toys my rules
It pains me to realize exactly what the OP is saying and that yes I can see some that would in persute (Sp) of a dollar

I have no link but I heard from a source I have confidence in that they are already having problems with the refugees. Heard they broke in the PX and also some cars.. The good news is Johnson County is opening the new jail any day, the bad news is it will not hold 11,000 people.
    And we expected what…….??????
I said before and was chastised for it but these are Ferrell humans lacking any social graces and no desires to gain any.
they come from a total :poop: hole and see us as sheep for the slaughter and nothing more.
thanks to all you idiots that actually voted for this.

I always think about these things in reference to the time the Constitution was written. Does anyone think that immigrants had any issues buying and owning firearms? For that matter, would a simple guest have had any issues doing so?

How many feel confident that Taliban terrorists that once were in GITMO will most likely be relied on to vet the "refugees". With 5000 at Atterbury and likely to settle in the area, Some will be showing up on the firing line. How about FTF selling to them. Are the welcome wagon members here going to travel and/or relocate to show their virtue or just pretend how rightous they are online ?
One of us has had a stroke. If my reply makes sense, I think its you.

You think one should have to be a citizen to own a gun?
As hard as they make it on me (a citizen) to own one yes. Yes I do. And with good reason. You can make arguments both ways but I stand fast here. Especially for the crop of nut jobs they just dropped on us.
A car…???? Pass the required tests/ins etc and sure. As bad as people drive now they will blend right in.
A gun right off the plane…….:p

Thank you, I made a comment similar to this once before and got brow beat a bit for it. For all this time I thought "guess I'm the *******". Maybe I'm not after all.
    I stand fast behind this.
beat me down for wanting a gun.
criminalize me for owning more than one.
**** you if you think you can get of the plane from Crap hole hell and go buy a gun.
**** off as the mouse is seriously angry

Nope not at that time. Hell if you were willing to fight the British the government would gladly hand you one.
