There have been dozens of people that have asked if the proposed mask mandate (Order 21-01) is on the agenda for the September 14, 2021 meeting. Indeed, it is and was verified not only by Dr. Vavilala herself, but also from a staff member in the County Council's office. This is simply the snipped from what is titled the "Tentative/Agenda/Notice". The text of the proposed order is not included on the agenda itself, so this is the extent of the information that can be provided at this time. These meetings are, of course, open to public comment. The meeting is at 10:00 AM September 14, 2021. The trend for a while has been an ability to tune in on WebEx (similar to Zoom) and there is a Public Comments block where whether in person or online, you can participate.
