CM, glad to hear you are home. If you find getting up out of your bed hard to manage, get someone to cut you 4x4 blocks and put under the feet on your bed. Makes it higher so you slide out instead of having the pull your body up (guts and muscles don't have to work near as hard). Keep up.

I hope you have met that new baby by now, CM. Praying for you to have plenty of time to get to know him and enjoy having a grandson in the family to give those girls a run for their money.
Mom he is just an adorable bundle of fresh bread. Due to so very strategically palaces wounds I have as yet to hold him.

I used to toss and turn trying to sleep. After my major surgery and a set back, I couldn't do that for awhile as I healed. Didn't even realize it at the hospital because the bed is so small there.

And the beds were originally designed by that French torture expert the Marquise De Sade.

Speaking on that, I had to wear the pressure pants, so it keeps blood moving, and nothing like that randomly starting and stopping while strapped to the bed. Although the strapped was my fault because I was a fall risk lol.
Nonetheless, those pants were worse than the bed.
Although I do kind of miss being able to remote control the bed hahaha.

I had to spend the night once during a holiday. Lots of staff were off work and the hospital consolidated patients. I was put on the children's floor in a kid sized bed. Had to keep my head elevated so I always slid down and my feet were pressed against the footboard all night. Nothing like an extra bit of discomfort thrown in.

Praying for you CM and family.

Lets see if we can get the fundraiser moving again. Thanks

Wow, I'd forgotten about those pressure pants! LOL
They put those on me after I had my quadruple coronary bypass surgery back in 2015.

Same here. They became a rhythm of your time in the bed.
I got a couple of my nurses upset as I was constantly stripping away all the wires/probes tubes and such.

Funny enough, that's another reason I was restrained. They ended up putting a sensor on my ear so I'd stop ripping it off.
In my defense, I was on so many drugs I thought I was in Germany and not Chicago. Among other places I'd think I was throughout the day.
Hope you are doing and feeling better.

I kept fighting and hating those. I was quite drugged up, so I wasn't completely aware even after they explained a few times. It wasn't until they started reducing the meds that I became more aware.
