Life is good when you are adopting, training and then relocating raccoons to the northlands (anywhere north of US30) where thugs and ne're-do'ells freak out when the trash pandas come a knocking and poop in their attic.

About a month ago I was on my way back to the office from Burns Harbor and drove past it. It looked like it was open. Maybe I'll go over there for lunch someday.

Westbound 80/94 was a parking lot this afternoon from I-65 and west. There was a stalled truck at Cline and the posted travel time to the state line was 54 minutes. I went that way this afternoon due to a crash on 30 in Valpo that had everything backed up. I jumped off on I-65 south and made my way home through Griffith. Was only about 10 minutes later than normal.

Ever since the economy has rebounded from COVID, my commute home in the afternoon has been as bad as ever.

Was going to take the roof rack off my SUV, and use a wire brush wheel on my grinder to remove paint/rust in order to repaint it.
I'd have to use my small pencil sandblaster to get corners.

But that may be a lot of work.
Anyone know a place in the area that I could bring the rack into and they could sandblast it? Any idea how much something like that would cost?
