I live in a rural area so I don't wear a mask outside the majority of the time.
Only in some urban areas where I can get fined for not following the law.

    What is rural France like?

The gardener has taken to watching a show about 2 Brits in a French Chateau, the area looks mixed agricultural. Indiana is heavy ag and flat up north, hilly and woody south.

The overlords at the CDC have finally admitted what most of us have known for well over a year, that there really is no need to wear a mask outside. Although they are limiting their updated "guidance" to those who have been fully vaccinated, not the rest of us heathens and neanderthals.

Of course, Biden rolled his old bones outside today to stand outside and address the media and comment on this, walking alone, outside with a mask on.

What a freaking joke these people are.
From the start I've never worn a mask outside, it never made sense to me.
I only wear a mask if I go in some place that requires it (their place, their right).
My mask has been used so little that I'm still using the same throwaway mask from my car I started with a year ago.

    It's hard to explain.

We have some parts that look like Indiana with flat corn fields, but also woods, hills ... and in my area cliffs, more fields on top of cliffs and beautiful beaches.

    :+1:

I've been wearing a mask outside in some areas because some cities here in France have mask laws in place.

You can get a $150 fine (it goes to $1,500 if caught again within 15 days) and even jail time for a repeat offender.

Some municipalities make it mandatory even on the beach, even if you're 200 yards from the closest human.
That’s crazy. Cases of virus infection from outdoors is very rare. It’s insane enough for people to go around of their own will with a mask on outdoors. But then to have laws that make it a crime punishable by stiff fines, I think is morally corrupt.

Nothing like tilling next to an 80ft drop off, neat pics
Yes they go pretty close to the edge with heavy tractors.

    It's kinda scary.
We sometimes have huge landslide with entire houses dropping from the cliff.

You can see hiking trail on the top of the cliff in that picture.
Thank god nobody was up there, or on the beach bellow when it happened.

This one is even more massive, you can see a few houses have fallen.
