You can't authenticate your "winning votes." You never could.

So who needs to move on from this stolen election?
Interesting thing I've been tossing around recently, and that's the thought of abolishing the secret ballot. Now it wouldn't be something that would be made public so that everyone could see who you voted for, but what about a system that would allow challenges to be officially confirmed by the person who cast the ballot? I'm not exactly sure how, but I think it can be done, and would solve a lot of issues.

I think it’s beneath you, and those who agree with you, to keep up with this “stolen election” nonsense. Trump lost, handily, it’s time to move on.
How do you explain more votes than registered voters?

According to the latest published information by the U.S. Census Bureau, based on their Voting and Registration Supplement to the Current Population Survey (CPS), ( here , table 4.A), in 2018 there were around 153,066,000 registered voters in the U.S.

    Over 159 million voted.

So if you go by that data there was approximately 3-4 million extra votes, or more.

It's not meant to pass, they are introducing this Bill knowing that it will not pass in the Senate due to the Filibuster. When it fails the Dem's will use it as an excuse to end the Filibuster so that "Important" legislation will not be hamstrung by those evil Republicans.

They have to end the Filibuster before they can actually pack the Court. That needs to happen before Biden's Commission on the Supreme Court issues their report in 6 months at which time I fully expect it to recommend the Court be expanded.

On a side note I see that the usual suspects are at it again stirring the pot trying to get a thread locked, a member banned or derail the thread onto another topic when something they would rather not see is being discussed. Surprised anyone still falls for their tricks.

“...usual suspects” don’t get a member banned. You must be new here.

Last sentence should be purple but I am on my iPhone right now.

Been here for as long as you have and I've seen them stir the pot until someone reacts in a way that gets them a vacation, but then again I try to pay attention to things.

You made it sound like some people get other people banned. It doesn’t work that way. We ban ourselves. Trust me I know. I’ve been there.

Nope, didn't mean it quite that way. I assumed people would get the point that some here try to bait another into an inappropriate response so they get a time out.

I think generally people are just upset that Trump lost. There’s some sort of weird romance going on with his supporters. Biden will leave office, some GOP guy will win the WH again in the future; and everyone will find a new conservative to love. When the WH switches again, people will again complain about “losing the country,” communist, and fema camps. It’s just a cycle.
    1. Its not the person of Trump. He did in fact act on a number of things many of us considered long overdue but that doesn't make it a personality cult like the Bernie crew.

    2. Forcible reeducation camps have matured as a political issue when we have members of congress calling for exclusion of conservatives from the public square at all levels, holding us "accountable" for our votes, and subjecting us to forcible reeducation.

    3. Much of our ongoing stability as a nation had come from observing customs which are not constitutionally demanded but still very important to our national wellbeing. It is very problematic that we have leftists eyeing these customs not with respect but rather maniacal grins with a bucket of fuel in one hand and matches in the other.

Interesting thing I've been tossing around recently,...blah, blah

The only thing that needs to be tossed around is voter authentication.

The lack of authentication is the only way you could cheat your way into this "win."

It would be foolish you or anyone to think we will EVER forget about this or "let it go." Never gonna happen. NEVER.

    Just so you know...

I highly doubt the framers intended Congress to use the expansion of the Supreme court by one party for political gain.

I personally think Indiana has it down pretty good. Now if 49 other states could do the same I believe the vote would be much more secure and elections would be more trustworthy. As it is now I'd say half the state's do not come close to Indiana voting laws and requirements. It isn't 100% perfect but I believe we do a good job.

Anyone who thinks showing proper identification is voter suppression he’s full of ****. It’s simply an excuse to get more voters on the Democrat voter rolls. You need a damn ID card or a drivers license to do pretty much anything else in society so what in the holy hell is wrong with having to show one to vote?
