The gun you choose to carry is 90% of the battle with carrying in sweat pants. I can't carry anything bigger than my g43x in sweats and the drawstring has to be snug, not uncomfortably tight, but snug.

I have a chunky lil FNS-9c. Only way it works is if the drawstring is unbearably painfully tight.

This sounds like a winner. Is it just a band with a pocket? Does it keep the trigger guarded fairly well?
I'm average body size. 6' 1" and 185. It Velcro's around your body. Not the greatest thing in the world but it doesn't slip down while running, squatting. Any holster that clips on has caused me problems in the past. Pulls my shorts down. Pants/ dress pants I wear a belt and comptac infedel inside the waste band holster or owb holster.

The Alien Gear Sport Tuck Belly Band holster is an excellent option. It is MUCH better than traditional belly bands which can roll over and stretch over time. It is a firm belt which goes under your sweatpants/shorts. Then any of their holsters (or other manufacturers...I use crossbreed holster with it) locks into it.

J frame in a Relentless Tactical suede holster. Wearing it right now.
Super comfortable and light. Had to add a couple stitches to make the holster tighter so the retention was better, but the steel clip they use latches well onto soft shorts or sweatpants.
It’s my around the house gun, and it’s perfect for what it is.

    In that kind of clothing I have tried 3 things;

    1. Belly band carrying a S&W 642. Worked, but the material stretched and the stitching tore out fairly quickly.

    2. Galco ankle glove - Glock 43.
Takes getting used to, still pretty bulky even with that thin a gun. Not my favorite.

    3. My own "bubba-rig"
I take my carry belt, wrap it around my abdomen, and attach my CTAC IWB holster for my Glock 19. Think of it as carrying IWB, moving it up about 6 " , and detaching the belt from your pants. Super hillbilly, I know, but it works.

I am thinking of having a good ortho guy just bolt a holster to my hip, so I can wear my favorite yoga pants and still carry securely........
Nigel in yoga pants. Damn dude, some things cannot be unseen, even in our minds. :puke:

I'll echo others; dont wear loungewear in public. (And always wear proper shoes.) I wear it around the house all the time. Including at this very moment. But I have a duty "go belt" for when something goes bump in the night.

But if I need to run to the store, I at least throw on some jeans.

You need a good messenger bag (aka-man purse). Then you can carry that Desert Eagle 44 mag you always wanted. Be sure to get the extra wide and padded shoulder strap!

I just through the belt around my waist with a IWB holster for the Glock 17.

I second this method if you insist on wearing sweatpants. I’ve done it before and it works great even when riding a bike or mildly jogging. Sticky holsters are garbage it would constantly be shifting or sliding down too far. With that there came a constant thought in the back of my mind of having to check to see if my pistol was still attached to me. I prefer the idea of something being firmly locked into place and not going anywhere. In my opinion the only good thing a sticky holster is for is as a pocket holster.

Bubba-Rig... Super Hillbilly... does anybody know about registering Trademarks? The Bubba-Rig Super Hillbilly is $14 more than the regular Hillbilly. The Hill-Jack is the sub-compact version.
