    ^^^Quoted for truth!^^^

It is a major shot across the bow for the GOP in Indiana and I am proud for having voted for Rainwater! His platform was more "Constitutionally Conservative" than Holcombs.
Forgive me for saying this, especially having voted for Rainwater myself. You guys are sounding like Libertarians. Don’t give a **** about losing. The goal becomes just sending a message. Holcomb won in a landslide. He scoffs at our message.

Rainwater: Ha! We got 13%! Message sent!

Holcomb: did I just hear some insignificant noise? What was that? I couldn’t hear you over my 58%.

Holcomb doubled the Myers vote. He more than quadrupled Rainwater. He now has a mandate to wear the crown of a tyrant in Indiana.

You forgot to say moral victory.

So now Holcomb going to call Gretchen up ask how far he can go before people want to put him on trial for treason.
I believe Holcomb will use unconstitutional power and enforce it for the next 4 years with lock down businesses, churches, and forced mask wearing, God knows what else this Rino will do with his last 4 years.

Tried to stay out of politics because of . . . federal memos, but apparently people are mad at Holcomb? Over what, it has to be a variety of things?

When I have asked in person I have been told "that woman" (Dr. Box). Thus, I just thought it was angry men being told not to cough and spit on each other and to wash their hands.

    So, educate me, please.

You may be beyond educating if you’ve read through this thread and haven’t figured it out.

Just read the last few posts before yours. Does that not clear it up for you?

Back to "that woman". I just do not understand the anger. It is a pandemic and Holcomb's listening to Dr. Box should be applauded.

Rainwater didn't start trending till arpund Sept. So for 2 months to be able to pull 12.2% better than those in the past. If he had the push he did those last 2 months at the beginning of the season who knows how high he could of gone.

I haven't really heard a lot of anger expressed in this thread. I don't even know who that is, so I can't help you. Maybe you can find someone here who knows who she is and is angry with her. People seem to be most upset with Holcomb because he keeps mandating ****, and cases seem to spike anyway.

That's a conversation for the losers to have I guess, because they can't talk about the victory. So we're just going to talk about what might have been.

As always, I will trade you, straight up, any time. Please. Send Eric here and I'll send Gretchen down there and see how you like it.

As for the vote turn out, if things hold, it will be the largest percentage margin of victory ever in Indiana. Beating Evan Bayh in 1992.

As for the state house. WOW! Gaining seats this year is nuts!

Oh, Kirk, one other reason people are pissed at Holcomb, he defecated on constitutional carry.

Bet we still don't get constitutional carry.

I'll be honest, given how cheap and easy it is to get a pink slip, that's pretty low on my list of priorities.

I'm certainly not willing to sacrifice a lot (e.g. the economy), or risk losing freedoms, to have a shot at C.C.

    YMMV.

You don't know who Dr. Box is? Prosecution rests.

I have found people and I ask them for a bill of particulars but I get blank looks and "that woman".

No one can tell me what they are mad about, just that a woman is telling them not to spit on each other and to wash their hands and they are howling like whipped dogs.

It is a pandemic, cases aren't going down, especially when I see my fellow citizens out in public and in line for bars. People cannot operate in the middle, only at the ends of the spectrum.

Ok, so, they don't understand that it was Bosma. Bosma is gone and we have a brilliant chance to axe the license.

Ignorance can be corrected, but the "that woman" teeth talk that I got cannot be cured.

I know a lot of people think his mandates are gov't overreach. And that if it's to basically be a law, it should pass through proper channels. Do you think anything he's done can be considered overreach?

The original EO with the criminal penalties was likely overbroad but a cursory study of history will show Indiana Gov.'s doing much, much more. This isn't the State's first pandemic.

Indiana's response was such weak tea compared to Michigan or out East.

In fact almost all state government was focused on controlling disease outbreaks prior to the development of vaccines.
