So the individual with the AR was chased down by 3 people, and of that group one tried to jump on his head after he fell, another tried to strike his head with a skateboard, and the last guy approached him with a pistol drawn? That seems pretty clear self defense. Let's see what facts emerge around the first guy that was shot.

The marxists with some knowledge of physics will likely realize that umbrellas and trashcan lids are insufficient protection from projectiles traveling in excess of 2,000 fps and perhaps decide to stay home.

Maybe we'll get lucky, and they will all get together with their "leader" and drink "the kool-aid" that gets them to their space ship.

I had to google Unertl. Sorry. And I'm sorry I still don't get it. Dad joke? I do get that all the time.

If you were a vet from the time of SE Asia....Unertl would be very familiar.

But, just a play on words. Unertl/Inert.

I guess it is a bit "out there"....but I know some guys got it.

An easy mistake to make. I won't follow the NBA, but I know they are in the playoffs right now and they are even screwing around with that.

He should be commended for not shooting more people?

    That's a pretty generous assessment.

Killing terrorists and not harming the innocent is the kind of things you would get a medal for overseas.

Considering BLM and Antifa are a larger threat to the general public than ISIS, as I said, he deserves a medal.

No one would bat an eye if an ISIS member was killed. But people have some sort of sympathy for the exact same thing when it goes under a different banner? Give me a break.

Im generally in agreement. Yes, it was stupid to show up, but hey, he has that right. I think he was proper in deploying deadly force on those who were attacking him. I wouldn’t convict him on that....BUT, if you’ve seen the video, he unloads about 5 or 6 rounds indiscriminately down range, when it appears he had no reason to. If one of the deceased is a result of that second part, then it won’t bode well for him. Again, why do people put themselves in such situations? Want some trigger time? Join the service.

The service isn't allowed to fight actual threats to the general public.

    Neither are police, anymore.

So who fights for the general public?

I'll answer it for you. People who deserve more respect than any of us sitting here arm chair quarterbacking on a forum, who go out and put their lives on the line to minimize the damage from these riots.

I would ask that of the entire Antifa/BLM group and especially those that thought it was a good idea to chase down a "gunman".

Nobody. There is no crime, I can think of, where the potential victimization of the general public allows for the use of deadly force. You need to be way more specific than that.
