Odd, last numbers I saw the majority of Indiana residents supported legalization.

Like stated above, there are other threads for that argument. It's safe to say that Lucas didn't win any popularity for his foolish statement on legalization.

Since its exactly the same. I think I will just vote for the Democrat. Not seeing much of a difference.

THE difference would be supporting the party of gun control. Any vote for a dem is a vote FOR gun control.

So your position is a republican hasn't favored or passed gun control laws. because if they have a vote for that Republican was a vote for gun control

While there are perhaps more Republicans that won't vote for gun control NOW. I remain unconvinced its due to any more than pandering to their base. Which is just what the democrats do. As the electorate shifts on the issue so will the Republicans.

Given that Republican leaders actively blocked progress on constitutional carry and other important initiatives anyone calling Indiana’s GOP “pro-gun” is not paying attention.

I think it is fair to say that the only pro-gun legislators are Republicans. At least I am unaware of any Democrat that has been pushing for ConCarry or any other easing of existing restrictions.

Agreed. You can’t be a democrat politician and be pro gun. If you’re a politician and you are pro gun you’re not necessarily a Republican. But you’re not a democrat. Doesn’t mean that voting for a Republican gets you a pro gun advocate. It could mean you get an anti-gun posing as pro-gun. Holcomb is pro-Fudd. He might protect your shotguns.

All I have to do is look at the national Democratic platform that is being put together for the upcoming election to determine where my vote goes. The Dems platform (national and local) is more taxes, big government, gun control, cancel student loan debt, late term abortions, no borders and goes it on and on. If that is what you want, vote for democrats. If you want Indiana to mirror Illinois, then vote for Democrats.

The only way Holcomb would care about the repercussions of his action is the fear of losing re-election.

Right now, he has zero F's to give.

Maybe, people make enough noise to make him realize to stop aligning his policies with the "Neighboring Midwest States Govenors" aka Democrats, he would be slowing down to become one.

    Republicans don't own my vote.

I'm not voting for Holcomb, I'm voting against something far worse. This pissing contest needed to take place in the primary; it didn't. It's over unless you want something far worse. If (for example) you want mayor stinky shoes to become governor stinky shoes and that's going to make the state better because we got rid of Holcomb then I think you are part of the problem and not the solution.

    Suggested campaign slogan for Holcomb:

"Hey, I know I am a worthless piece of **** with little to no regard for a limited state, but I'm better than the other worthless piece of ****.
    Vote for me!"

Looks like it would work just fine!

    Holcomb slogans:

    Indiana Works! (Sometimes)

Wander (what the he** is going on in) Indiana

    My Man Eric! (The D**k)

Back Home Again in Indiana (in accordance with Executive Order 20-08)

A good thing about America is that I own my vote. I get to cast it, or not cast it, for anyone I want. No one else gets approval rights over it.

Well. Until you die. Then Democrats own it.

Or until you go to mail in voting, in which case the many unseen people who handle it after it leaves your hands are free to change it in any way they please
