Has anyone written to Walmart corporate yet? If so, do you have a working link? I've tried but it's one of those 3 step ordeals and it stalls out on step 3.

Chinese ammo has been banned from US import since 1994.

I'd like to see how a Walmart greeter reacts when they confront someone open carrying, who then simply pulls their shirt over their sidearm. I'd like a manager to explain to me how one style of carry is more acceptable than the other.

If only Jeephammer would weigh in.

    Is it this one?

    You might try switching browsers.

Though such behavior can sometimes be browser specific, I would be surprised if a company with walmart's resources didn't at least support Chrome, Firefox, IE/Edge, and Safari.

Also, having JavaScript turned off or limited could cause problems with some webforms.

Same reason a woman couldn't walk in with her boobs out, but if she pulls a shirt over them she is fine.

So did they at least put all the ammo on clearance or are they still making sure they make a profit?

I say let the women open carry if they want to. Then again it is Walmart so that might not necessarily be a good thing.

+1 its not completely a bad thing, someone will pick up the slack. Someone, dare I say, more friendly. The only thing that sucks, is that now when I go to Walmart I can't spend my time looking over ammo while the family shops.

Sure you can. You can look over all the .22, shotgun shells and 30-30 ammo you want.

I stopped in and bought some 9mm the other day. .17 cents per round after taxes for Federal brass.
The smart online retailers will see this as an opportunity to grab market share if they can sell at those prices.

For those of us paying 16cpr all in, we know they can, do, and will

    Well that sucks

Not really. Have you been to Walmart recently? People of Walmart boobs out is not a good thing. they'd be tripping over them. (EDIT: or running over them with their scooters)

Now maybe Target or Whole Foods boobies? Better chance of enjoying that. :):

Well that settles it, a Bloomberg deal definitely got made behind the scenes.

Democrats are racking up victories on corporate gun control. The more they push guns and ammunition out of normie spaces and make it this secret, dirty thing that you have to go to a special place to get a la the porn store, the easier it will be to convince people to stamp it out altogether.

    Agreed.

Write them. You can bet the gun grabbers are. It only takes a couple of minutes to turn up the heat so they might see the light.

Here is the response I got yesterday.
    Hi Ken,

We appreciate you taking the time to share your concern with us. Be assured that your comments have been documented for our management to review. You can read the specifics of the change in our firearms and ammunition products at https://corporate.walmart.com/newsr...nse-to-the-tragedies-in-el-paso-and-southaven

Thank you for contacting Walmart where we are always happy to help.

    In response to this
I just read a story about the policy changes that Walmart is implementing to "take constructive steps to reduce the risk that events like these will happen again".

First, I wanted to point out that none of the changes that will be implemented would have stopped nor will stop any act of evil like the one that happened in El Paso.

Second, I wanted to let you know that you have lost a customer. I've been open carrying in the Walmart in Valparaiso, IN for 7 years. I will not cover my gun nor disarm in order to enter one of your stores. There are many other options out there that will not ask me to be act like a criminal and hide the fact that I have the means to defend myself and my family to shop there.
