What?Society? Dude, it was blue on blue, literally.
A dog apparently charged them and someone became victim of friendly fire.
On scene looking to serve warrant.
Sounds like many chiefs and Sheriff's I've heard around the constitutional carry issue.Anyone of my fellow Lafayette INGOers remember the article in the Journal & Courier where the LPD Chief was talking about how "highly trained" his officers were and how you serfs need to be as well trained as the police?
It was Boxing Day, I think? Anyone remember that snotty little lecture?
Is the dog still aggressive?
Whenever I hear of folks shooting hunting partners or fellow officers............I always wonder if one was romping the other's ol lady.
Romping???
I caught that too. I don't know if it's made the Urban Dictionary yet.

I missed this, have a link by any chance?
Love to but J&C blocked me long ago.
It is the story on December 26th about 3 of the 4 homicides in Tippecanoe County being self-defense. Flannelly is going on about how being need to be as highly trained as his officers, "responsibility" and the usual clap trap from police brass and guns. Mr. Google should find it.
If I read that right, sounds like the officer was not shooting at anything? A Negligent discharge while running with finger on trigger?
Think I’d request a new partner.
