"Queer" is fine when not used with malice (as an adjective rather than a noun). The only people it offends are those who have no reason to be offended.

Godless Society? Isn't the problem these people believe they are following God? How long have people been killing each other over which god is the right god?

You are clearly forgetting the characterization of George Zimmerman in the media as a "white Hispanic."
    So much for your dismissiveness.

Yep, there's that instance, and..... and....? Well, yeah, there was the one instance.

Thanks snap, I do not mean any malice, especially tonight. My heart aches for the loss. However folks might feel about the gender or sexual identity questions, people have a right in this country to gather and associate with who they want and an attack against one of us is an attack against all of us.

If you live here, this threat is existential, plain and simple. It doesn't matter who you associate with. If you're in the wrong place at the wrong time next time and can't fight back, you're dead. These animals simply do not care about about any human life not lived according to their doctrine, nor do they care about collateral damage.

It's absolutely beyond me how ANY politician could have the temerity to tell me, a good, law-abiding citizen, what means I can and cannot use to defend myself, my family, and my country. It's simply not for them to decide; that's up to ME.

My guess is that those in the club were of a liberal mindset (most).
Probably not big on the 2nd Amendment stuff.
    Not much risk of retaliation.

Same reason scum pick schools to unleash their evil.

    No fighting back.

I wouldn't blade the victims like that (I'm not saying it's what you're doing but it could sound like it).
For all we know some might had some heroic actions (jumping on the shooter, shielding others), you just can't say that entire group didn't fight back and blame them for that.
Some might even had been carrying (I think you can CC in Florida).

Even if you're armed you might not even have the time to react to someone walking in and blasting everybody in the room.

I bet the killer knew those folks wouldn't shoot back.

Some of those leaving..........minimal dress..............proly not CC in that attire (or lack of it).
Maybe a Rainbow filmdipped Taurus might be an acceptable accessory...........but even then, a club with booze, proly not allowed.

50 shot, 53 wounded.............my guess is that it took a while and he didn't score a ton of mults or go without a miss or reload.
Maybe he did have a beta mag.

Fighting back.............you fight to win. That means you fight back with bullets.

Shielding others is BS...........all that means is you take a couple before the one you were protecting takes a few.
Unless of course you know how much ammo the bad guy has and the order of targets.

It might not be the best thing to do, especially depending on distance from the shooter.
But it's certainly a noble and brave thing to do I think, regardless of the effectiveness of the techique.
I heard reports of teachers shielding their students during school mass shooting.
In some cases it even gave a few seconds to allow others to escape (especially kids in school).
