What an excellent way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

Certainly a big thanks goes to Cwood and VUPDblue for hosting this year's build party (again). Also thanks to shooter521, akaindy, and ARdysfunction for their patience in helping everyone build up their lowers. I'm glad those that came out decided to make the trip. It was amazing how many faces I already knew this time around.

Here are a few quick cell phone snapshots of everyone getting down to business. . . .

I can't wait to see what Nick's camera caught. There's one of bigcraig that I think will be particularly appreciated. . . .

I wanted to attend but I just could not get away. I had family going out of town so they threw me an early birthday Party. It looks like it was a great success and a good time..

I had everything packed to leave and ended up catching a bug that would NOT go away so I opted out of making the 2-3 hour drive down. Maybe next time....

I'm so sorry I couldn't make it guys. My friend had a shotgun wedding and I was a groomsman, lol. I only heard about it on Friday and we were there on Saturday. It looks like everyone had an awesome time.

Looks like a good time. I made it out the first one and had a great time checking out some of the rifles that people brought in.

I love watching folks assemble their own guns, makes me all warm and fuzzy.

I would have helped out more but my fellow AR brethren had everything under control, although, I did supervise bwframe assembling his second lower, and he did an excellent job.

The photo shoot got a little "weird", but there is just something about vupdblue and a camera that brings out my modeling skills.

I wanted to thank everyone for coming out and attending the build party and Dave for those wonderful cookies. It is nice to see new and current AR owners get together and build new projects. Also a big Thank You to MCF&G for letting us use the club for the build.

If there is enough interest we will probably do this again in the spring.
