Vox says saying "you guys" is sexist, you guys. Well, except when they say it.

I started saying "guys and gals", but evidently, that is sexist as well. At least my local femi-nazi says so.

As long as I can still say "ya'll", I'm good.

I'll bet it pisses Pepsi off that every softdrink is a Coke in some parts.

I knew a guy at uni that said "y'all", of which we made some sport. The way he told it, he'd grown up in Commiefornia saying "you guys", then moved to the South, where they beat him up figuratively and a few times literally as teh ghey. He'd found life more pleasant after adopting the local vernacular.

I also have some sympathy for the people with the cat. I was in the process of moving, and somehow startled my cat. Ordinarily sweet, cuddly and conversant, she became a viscious wild cat of the jungle. I was unable to approach her for three days, and any time I came near, she would make a fair vocal impression of a mountain lion and attempt to remove some of my appendages.

Well, if one can be a "Native American" just because she feels like it, why not black?
Pretty sure this has been a skit/gag on pretty much every comedy-type show in the past several decades. The Simpsons, SNL, South Park, etc...

I suppose we shall see just how tolerant the NAACP really is.

PETA is thanking the creators of Jurassic World for not using real dinosaurs.

In their defense, they only used that movie to illustrate that CGI allows realistic depictions of animals, without using real animals (extinct or not).

I'm not a PETA guy, but it seems like a valid point. If you want a dinosaur in your movie, CGI might be the ONLY way to do it, but if you want a cow, you could use CGI, or you could just get yourself a cow.

If it were more practical to use real dinosaurs, they'd probably rather done that. But CGI is very expensive. Even CGI cows. PETA is full of bovine ****. And not the CGI stinkless bovine ****.
