The first Circle Center Mall lot is usually full (was yesterday afternoon and this morning) since it is the closest. But if you go down a ways and park in the mall lot on the north side of Maryland (by palomino) or behind the Steak n Shake it should be good.

I parked in a little lot on McCarty, just east of Missouri (across the street from the south lot at Lucas) for 10 bucks.

I just got back after spending the day there, and it was very, very crowded when I left. Nonetheless, DO NOT miss it! I spent at least 5 hours wandering around the hall, looking at displays, handling guns, talking to reps, etc. and there are still things pictured in this thread that I missed. Great time. Despite how crowded it was, everybody was very pleasant, patient, and well behaved. I am very shy, but the company reps were so pleasant I found it very easy to talk to them. I also got to see and handle lots of guns and other products that I have never seen at a gun show. I found several guns that are of interest to me that I never even knew existed. The collector displays are very interesting, if you are interested in WWI machine-guns or Polish Radom pistols you will see displays that you probably will never be able to see again. Regarding the supposed protesters; I made it a point to look for them both on the way in and the way out and I could not find them.

Nice job Fenway! I just got back and here is my quick synopsis:

    1. I was there from 9:30-4:00. Parked in the Indiana State Museum garage. $12. No issues. Short walk to west entrance of conv. center.
    2. Fairly crowded. Can't imagine how it will be Sat/Sun.
    3. N8 Squared are people with great character. I would buy a holster from them just based on who they, what they stand for and where they came from. It's a bonus that the holsters are precisely what I was looking for.
    4. Lot's of people are selling there.
    5. Jake Martens is a mean person.
    6. You can have your Remington R51.
    7. Though there are ton's of guns there, I realize I really don't need that many more.
    8. But I would like a Trap gun and a CZ pistol...
    9. I have decided on the hand guard I will use on my AR build.
    10. Powder mfrs. will not catch up this year.
    11. Our community as gun owners/enthusiasts is aging.
    12. Ate lunch with Jerry Miculek.

I was like a kid in a candy store. It was fun, the reps were great and for once, you could actually get a bargain on purchases. Lot's of nice people.

Embarrassment early at the show. Ran into Fenway, and my brain flat out could not put face to name even though we have known each other longer than this site has been here! DOH! Sorry friend!

Great show, and no need to add the hundred photos I took as most are duplicates of Fenway's. As shown in his photos, there were some really nice firearms there as well as accessories and other related stuff.

Hard to believe they finally had this show right in my backyard!!! And was it ever worth it!

As for parking, got lucky and parked in the Mall lot, right buy the escalators which were right by the skywalk to the center. No line getting in thanks to pre-registration, and was not as crowded as I expected, but figure that was because today is Friday. Tomorrow, all bets are off.

As for safety, amazing as not one of the many weapons there assaulted anyone! :D :D :D :D :D

Hickok45, he is talk and his son is taller
    Chris Costa at Aimpoint booth
    Sheri from Noveske
R Lee Ermey at Glock booth

    bought a Magpul Iphone4 case $8
ALG single chamber muzzle break for $25 at Geissele booth

favorite gun of the show, the FN Scar.

I will be back tomorrow for some more browsing probably spend some more money.

I took the east entrance, didn't see any protesters. CC the whole time.
