I know the pizza driver who was killed. This isnt his first time having a problem while delivering pizzas for Papa Johns. He used to work at the 38th and Post road Papa Johns. He got robbed and requested to be transfered. He then transferred to the south side store at Madison Ave and Hanna. Which is where he was delivering pizzas for when he was fatally shot while out on a delivery.
I have heard of multiple robberies happening often off of 38 th street. I don't see John on the tv changing company policy of even giving a damn about his employees.

Haha I can just picture the robbers face when he sees me go for my junk. Plus if I got in a hurry, I could have a nd and I can't afford to lose even an inch if you know what I mean. Uniform policy is tan khaki pants.

As Bingley said, LAPG has tactical pants in khaki. I just bought 2 pair. Deep gusseted pockets and plenty of room to conceal.

This is so sad. Such a waste and for what reason? Why? When does it end?

I wonder if the penalty for murder was to die in the same manner in which your victim died...maybe that would eliminate this type of thing.

Heck even if the penalty for murder was to just die it would really cut down on this type of thing. These guys will get 30 serve 15 and be out.

I understand what you are saying, but the reason is not what happens after a driver defends themselves. lets be clear. if I was robbed and had to defend my self, I am not going to give two squirts of p**s if I get fired for it. how ever. I have to conceal that weapon all the time before that happens. We must have our shirts tucked in. this eliminates some conceal areas. in my case, I am a big guy, and the shirt does not tuck well. iwb will not work for me. ankle is just not a real viable option in this case. that leaves pocket carry. up until this point I was not a fan of the idea. I keep money and a pen in that pocket. for me I will have to change the way I do things. money might have to go to different pocket, pen clipped onto shirt. the reason I have not carried at work yet, was fear of the gm or the D.o. seeing it and losing my job.
I just don't care about that anymore. My eyes are open. if I carry in the store or my vehicle I will run the risk of losing my job, and putting myself even farther into financial hardship. In the end, it is still better than being hurt or killed because I was not carrying.

You're correct that ankle is not viable. You wouldn't have the right opportunity to bend down and grab for the ankle gun if you were robbed. When I pocket carried, I wore cargo pants or cargo shorts. I had a pocket holster velcro'd into the pocket where I kept my cash. That way, if I got robbed by someone who just saw me put cash in my pocket, I was reaching for the same pocket I had put cash in. If some jackass gave me payment in change, I put the change in a different pocket so I didn't have to worry about it dropping into the holster. I kept my pen clipped to the button section of the Papa Johns polo shirt so I didn't have to worry about a ND from the pen getting into the holster. The ONLY thing in the same pocket as the holster was cash. The holster was velcro'd to the inside of the cargo pockets close to the leg, and the gun was snug enough in the holster that I didn't have to worry about reaching into the holster while putting cash in my pocket. And I agree with you about not keeping it in your car. You'd constantly be holstering and unholstering. It's not worth your time. Stay safe out there.

It was a rhetorical question, but since you asked.... first time I wore my LAPG pants the plastic zipper broke and I couldn't close my barn door. It wouldn't have neen so bad had I been in a moe secluded area.

Hey Frank, I just got home and checked my LAPG pants and they have genuine YKK metal zippers. They are the Vertx brand. Did you maybe get another brand ?

Sad story man. A buisiness owner that's reluctant to change it's policy after an incident like this would have to be complete mad man.
