I want the nation to know we're all buying guns. They may getting around to actually asking WHY?
you should be smart enough not to poke him in the eye with a stick.
That's a great platitude, but tactically, that's like walking down Meridian Street with an open carry. It makes your point but you'll probably have an outcome you won't like.A "free people" should never cower in fear of what their government may do to them, because when they do, they are no longer free.
That means he will become willing to stay away from red hot issues like 2A (that really aren't all that important to him) to try to gain support for his broader agenda.

Did anyone see the report on Fox this morning where a gun store owner in CT writes a letter to Obama thanking him for the great gun business! What a dumbass!!!! That's like waving a red flag in front of a bull. Gee, let's taunt him into clamping down on guns.

The last I was aware it's perfectly legal for a law abiding citizen of the Great State of Indiana to go about their business armed with a handgun, even "openly armed", so long as they have a LTCH.
The law is the law, regardless of how many leftist liberals wet in their panties at the mere thought of private gun ownership, let alone the sight of one being worn by a civilian.
That said, I do honestly believe there would be "hell to pay" if a law-abiding (armed) citizen was harrassed, detained or arrested by a misguided law enforcement officer for doing nothing except for upsetting an Obama voter.
I do hope everyone else on this forum feels the exact same way.
