I read the whole thing. Que already said that the reasons for the changes that were made are known to those involved. That should have made it self-evident that we don't make name changes lightly, but only in cases where it's warranted.

I'm really envious you got a SCAR. I have been saying I wanted to buy one for some time. I am a die hard FNH guy. I have the $$ for one but I can't rationalize spending it.

Why? Some people have good reasons to have their named changed. Something that may impact their work, like an officer having a badge number in his name, or an ex trying to track them down. Some people want to change their name because they "feel like it". One of those three reasons is not an adequate reason to impact the flow of threads.
