Got my Colt Commander (1st Colt!) back on Friday (just now posting). Bought this lil pony off gunbroker.com for $700 & she went straight to J.M. Gunsmithing. Had him do the following:
    1. Polish all internals & smooth action
    2. Dehorn (deburr) the internals.
    3. Bevel the magwell
    4. Install Trijicon night sights (love em)
    5. Smooth & lighten trigger pull (from 5.6# to 4.1#)
    6. Minor touch-up bluing
    7. Replaced smooth Colt grips with RAASCO double-diamond silverwood.
This 1974 Colt is all original, except for the work done. It does show a fair amount of holster wear, but I'm fine with that, as this will most likely be my new EDC.
