    Not saying this as a commentary or nuthin', but this picture made me put Stevie Ray Vaugh on the sound system belting out Willy the Wimp.

    I've noticed a few rides of the "dos ruedas" variety that have vertical license plates. Just thought I'd mention this:
    IC 9-18-2-26
    License plates; display
    Sec. 26. (a) License plates shall be displayed as follows:
    (1) For a motorcycle, trailer, semitrailer, or recreational vehicle, upon the rear of the vehicle, except as provided in subdivision (4).
    (2) For a tractor or dump truck, upon the front of the vehicle.
    (3) For every other vehicle, upon the rear of the vehicle, except as provided in subdivision (4).
    (4) For a truck with a rear mounted forklift or a mechanism to carry a rear mounted forklift or implement, upon the front of the vehicle.
    (b) A license plate shall be securely fastened, in a horizontal position, to the vehicle for which the plate is issued:
    (1) to prevent the license plate from swinging;
    (2) at a height of at least twelve (12) inches from the ground, measuring from the bottom of the license plate;
    (3) in a place and position that are clearly visible;
    (4) maintained free from foreign materials and in a condition to be clearly legible; and
    (5) not obstructed or obscured by tires, bumpers, accessories, or other opaque objects.
    (c) The bureau may adopt rules the bureau considers advisable to enforce the proper mounting and securing of license plates on vehicles consistent with this chapter.
    As added by P.L.2-1991, SEC.6. Amended by P.L.210-2005, SEC.22; P.L.42-2007, SEC.18; P.L.184-2011, SEC.1.

    Here are my daily drivers.

    truckandcart.jpg

    The cart has been great for me and my daughter. We take a ride around the neighborhood almost every day and just talk about the day. I keep thinking about selling it since I have never used it for what I bought it for. But the time with my daughter is priceless and she says I can only sell it if I buy a Rzr or something like that.

    where the work is
    I recently got rid of this dream machine, a 1987 Toyota "VanWagon" mini-van. What a POS. 320k miles, burned 1 qt of oil for every 2-3 tankfuls of gasoline. But, I did get every bit of the $600 I paid for it, out of it. That was a real low point in my adult life.

    What, you mean you don't enjoy lifting the driver's seat to work on the engine, or having to cut a hole into the bulkhead behind the engine to gain access to stuff? Sounds like a hoot to me!

    Seriously though, I hated that van. I liked getting 25mpgs, I liked being able to turn it around on a sidewalk, but what a turd.

    This is my 1969 Charger SE with 41,000 original miles. I purchased it from the original owner in El Centro California about 5 years ago. A lot of work has gone into the car, and she is a blast to drive.
