    I only got what I think I might build. Got one for my daughter too. Bought the lowers now just in case and I don't have enough cash to build right now. Chances are that the AWB if re-instituted, is much like the first but restricts more rifles. No rifles can be built or transferred after that date. The uppers and etc. are just parts and can be made anytime and would be considered replacement parts also. IMHO

    I wanted an AR before the election, I still want one... only problem is now I'm going to have to probably pay a whole lot more come early next year because of people freaking out and hording.

    I bought a complete AR15 for me, and a stripped lower for the wife. Figured that way I'd have a working model to refer to while I try my hand at building one, and the build process would be a fun way to give me a good working knowledge of the innards.
