I don't play the "best" game but there are many great options. I always hear praise about Kart, Nowlin, and Bar-Sto. Between your two choices though I would lean towards the Bar-Sto simply because that is what they do, barrels. I thought I read they were no longer in business but I am probable wrong.

I am looking at Ed Brown or Bar-Sto. Any Suggestions? It's for a Colt gold cup national match if that makes a difference.
Might want to look at the forums on m1911.org. If you go to Brownells.com it is too confusing, there's just too many choices! Lots of excellent quality match grade barrels out there.
