    4 or 5 for me. My arm doesn't bump into it walking and gives better concealment. 3 o'clock if OC , maybe 330. I don't like it back farther because I can't see back there as good and I'm paranoid about stupid people.

    Yep, I'm about a 3-5 guy depending on the day and what I'm wearing.

    But, to have a little fun with the topic, without going too far off topic;

    I carry Appendix IWB about 80% of the time, and carry at 3-4 O' Clock 15% of the time, and the other 5% pocket carry a J-frame

    those of you who voted in this range, how small of a gun are you carrying and is it comfortable while sitting. tactically, i would think this position to be best. but with my wifes cooking and slightly larger guns, its not practical.

    I carry a full size 1911. Cross draw is very comfortable if you the cant is right. If the holster keeps the gun too vertical it's hard to sit down. If your wife's cooking has effected your figure you may need to go over more towards 9:30 or 10:00 rather then 10:30 or 11:00. I can't say enough good things about the tactical aspect of cross draw.
