    I think it's a fantastic idea.

If you want to eradicate a part a nature, just make a market for it.

You batter fry a fillet, and put some malt vinegar on it, and I'm there.

I keep advocating for an Asian Carp Shotgun season, I call it Carp Trap (or is it Skeet?) shooting, but the DNR isn't too enthusiastic.

May as well batter them up and eat them. At the rate they are displacing native fish, there won't be any other "game" fish around much longer.

if i were going to the taste, i'd definitely give it a try. last time we went to brookfield zoo, i ate crickets and caterpillars at their bug exhibit. it grossed out my oldest daughter and her friend, but they really didn't taste bad.

I'm glad to see that there's a little more advocacy for eating those things. I admit I've never had carp but I'm pretty much always down for trying some new and different animal flesh.

There is a company on either the Missouri or Mississippi River that catches and exports TONS of these things to China. I guess they are a delicacy there?
