    Hey all, I’m new here.
quick question looking for info. A buddy gave me a pelican type case with no foam in it (he is a plastic molding guy). It’s not a name brand, so I can’t go to the manufacturer for foam. Is there a certain type I should use? Or avoid?
    thanks in advance

I’m a big fan of kaizen foam. You can usually find places that make them for your specific case. It’s WAY easier to cut than standard foam and your results can look professional.

I've seen numerous guns with rust due to being stored in between foam in a rifle case. They can definitely retain moisture in there so long term storage is generally frowned upon.
