What kind of gun did zimmerman use?

What kind of gun and what caliber did he use? I do believe it was one shot. Also did they say how he was carrying the gun pocket, holster?

Thanks for the sites. FoxNews in several broadcasts, have reported he will receive the gun back but have not been specific as to when. On a side note, while I fully think Z was in the right and I would have done the same thing, I would probably destroy the gun just to get the memories it would, no doubt, cause me to have down the road. Just my off topic thought.
