Used to carry my Colt Defender .45 but it was very heavy/large.
    It’s fun to shoot though.
I CC's a Colt 1911 Officer's model for a few years...loved the pistol, but it did get heavy after a while.
Ended up trading it for a Glock 32 in .357 SIG and never looked back!
I do have a Commander 1911 nowadays, and absolutely love it, but it's not in the carry rotation.

I hope they sell the HK45 LEM to the public. Those are nice firearms.
Do you think you'll like a Glock 45 after having a higher quality firearm in the HK?
Mine is a personal HK. The agency is going to Glock 21 Gen 5 with red dots from standard Glock 21 Gen 4 so there might be some Glock 21 Gen 4 soon if I hear I will advise for those interested.

There’s tons of guns I could have included on the list. I actually almost included the G2C but didn’t just because the list was getting long.

As for the P320 you’re right I should have included it.
I get it. You do the best you can but there are too many options out there to realistically have a list of all carry guns. Good discussion, though.

My daily is an M&P .40, my church gun is a Springfield Ronin in .45 acp because I can shoot minute of torso at the maximum distance if there is a problem. I can’t do it with my M&P. However, I just bought a shield plus with optics that I may consider for everything but I’m still not confident past 30 yards so I will continue to train with it some more and see if it passes muster. FYI if I do my part I think I may have a winner. Admittedly I’m a full on trigger snob and the shield needs some attention so I will address that with some M-Carbo spring and polishing.
