We deep fried some bacon and bacon wrapped hot dogs one time at an INGO range day in South Bend several years ago. Maybe Stocks still has a pic somewhere.

Fyi... bacon cooks in about 10 seconds in a turkey fryer.

Mom made chicken fried armadillo but not deep fried.
Would deep fried work for a pork shoulder?

Oooo boy it was good. Nice crust on the outside that was kind of like bacon and all the juices were sealed inside. I wish I had done a marinade for it yesterday. This was kind of a last minute throw together.

Everything. When we were first married, way back when, we would have a fryer party with all our friends. Late night the fridge would get cleaned out.

Anything from the freezer is good. Waffles, tater tots, the usual fries etc. Summer sausage, seasoned steak or venison chunks. Just try anything.
