Apparently, it IS a Rock Island STK 100. I put one on layaway at Rural King. ($350 minus employee discount)

I only put it on layaway because I stopped in while grocery shopping... and returning with a gun, well, no need to poke the bear unnecessarily. :) My wife is cool with my firearms, but a gun with groceries... not going there. :)

I'd get one of the cheap semi auto 12ga I think, plus room left to get some mags.
ALMOST enough to buy a BBR, which is a desire of mine.

Get a nice multi role plinker like the rugr mkIV. On the other hand you could get a nice hunting setup on an 870 or mossburg 500 w/ 2 barrels. One barel for home defense/deer slugs and one for shooting clays or bird hunting. One purchase, many options!
Saw a Ruger Hunter at my LGS today for just over $500 and man was it sweet. I did not have $500 to spend today … so I picked up a little ammo instead. 12ga, 30-30 and 22lr

I am impressed with my Taurus g2c.

I bought it for $190 new. It never failed or jammed with stock mags aftermarket mags are hit or miss. Was fairly accurate only gripe was the stock trigger. I bought it to carry when working on vehicles to take the abuse since my Springfield was getting damaged by the pavement.

I think they jumped in price & now I see the G3c is available.

So I suppose I’d get the Taurus g3c just to see how good they are!
