;Depending on the day and the day's activities for me

    1: A "large" pocket pistol (i.e. Kahr or S&W J Frame)
    Ruger LCR or Khar CM9

2: A subcompact full size pistol, such as an officer's model 1911 or the Sphinx SDP Subcompact is looking interesting.
I have carried a Springfield Limited in .45 but not often.

3: A compact full size pistol, such as a Glock 19, USP Compact, Commander etc.
    I have carried a Glock 19.

4: A full size pistol such as 1911, USP, M9, FNX, CZ75 etc.
Just for giggles I have carried my son's IDPA pistol, a STI 9mm full size.

I figure life's too short to stick to one carry. I practice with all, the biggest change is the shift to cocked and locked with the 1911's vs. the others.
    Thanks for asking,

I carry a para lda in .45acp . Nuttin fancy holster. I like the fact of having a round chambered ( dumb not to ) without having to have the hammer locked back. The first shot feels just like a single action. The pistol is very dependable BUT i dont think it ts as durrable as other pistols. I would love to find someone that sells a single stack .45 with a da trigger system thats top shelf 100% dependable. After all whats your life worth. I hate having a pistol that i cant put a million rounds thru to stay proficient on the 1 in a million chance i may have to use it once to live.

It's either a Kimber Compact (4", officer sized grip) or a Glock 23. Mostly carry OWB, but when carrying IWB it will be one of those two.

Full sized M&P 40 or 45 in a Crossbreed SuperTuck, Sig P220 Compact in a CB SuperTuck, Kahr PM45 in another CB ST. Anyone sensing any patterns?

I alternate depending on mood & what/where I'm doing/going. OWB full size 1911. IWB Colt Commander. And occasionally I carry a full size 9mm or a .38 snub.

In moderate weather, usually a Keltec p-40 or pf-9 in a Wild Bill's Ayoob rear guard style tuckable, or a Don Hume iwb vertical crossdraw. Warmer, a P380 in a pocket holster. When younger and stronger, a Star PD, or steel Commander in an iwb.

How do you like the PA-63? I've found mine to be one of the best guns I own for the money (hope 9x18, or brass becomes more avail.).
