I had mine Thursday (the 2nd time). Most of the "pain" is in my head ... every little twinge I feel, I think all hells coming down. Same thing though, bag of frozen peas and a healthy dose of Peratin.

well day 2 update. Its been well over 48 hours since the procedure. Slept normally last night, and been feeling good today. Still some slight discomfort. I gave up my 'jock strap' for a bit as it needed washed, and its not to bad with out it. Actually nice to be 'free' ;)

I think the "worst" is behind me now. Just taking it easy today, watching TV, keeping my feet up most of the time. "The pacific" marathon on HBO is helping to keep me relaxed :)

I had the procedure twenty six years ago with no regrets,my wife had a medical condition after two kids and i figured she went through enough, but last Monday i went through a Hydrocele repair and that was a little more of a challenge, so far so good frozen peas and jock straps along with Neosporin are your best friends.

Well pretty much back to normal. 95% anyway. No more athletic supporter. I worked out yesterday (cardio anyway), and no issues there either.

While I respect every man enough to support him doing what he needs to do, I stand with the non-nut cutters on this one! :D

This has got to peg the old meter!!! The good news is that he was too dumb to breed anyway. Thins out the shallow end of the gene pool.
Man accidentally shoots himself in testicles
    Seattle Times staff

A man accidentally shot himself in the testicles at Lowe's Home Improvement store in Lynnwood Sunday afternoon, police said.
The man's handgun, which was in the waistband of his pants, went off at about 12:30 p.m. — an apparent "accidental discharge," according to Shannon Sessions, a Lynnwood police spokeswoman.
"It made a loud noise and scared a lot of people in the store," Sessions said. "I believe he shot himself in the testicles and he also had some injuries to his leg and foot. He was obviously in shock."
Nobody else was hurt and no one appeared to be with the man, she said.
Police and fire responded, and the man was rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle before police had a chance to interview him extensively. Sessions had no further details about the man.
Lynnwood police are continuing to investigate but "at this point it does look like it's accidental," Sessions said. A manager at Lowe's said store personnel are not commenting on the incident.

I had this done 20 years ago. I went to the doctors office and they had me sit in a chair with my legs spread eagle in these stirups that hold your legs in place. There was the doctor and a female nurse there to do the procedure. I felt as though I was on display but also proud of what I had.:rockwoot:Well, the doc started snipping and all of a sudden, I heard the nurse say, "oh my, is there supposed to be that much blood." They then called for another nurse to come in. Now I have 2 women and the doc working on me. To make a long story short, 2 1/2 hours later and 4 nurses and the doctor working on me, he finished and told me he was done. I went out to pay my bill and the one of the nurses just looked at me and smiled and said, "oh honey, don't worry about paying. Just go home and lay down and ice yourself.":dunno: When I got home, both of the boys were swollen up the size of tennis balls and were black. I thought for sure they would fall off. :xmad: After going back to the doc, I found out the procedure didn't work, that the doc had snipped the wrong thing and that this was the first time he had tried to do this. It turned out to be his last also. I later was sent to a specialist to correct the first attempt and to finish what I started. 2 months later, and 1 of the boys now bigger than the other they called it a success. I did get the procedure done for free but it sure seemed to cost me in the long haul, but at least I am shooting blanks now.:draw:
