My first job as an EMT started at $4 an hour. McDs was hiring in at $4.25 an hour.

My first raise was to $4.00 per hour. Came with the "promotion"

I make just a bit more these days.

Nobody else saw the articles about how several(all?) of the closed walmarts were locations with lots of talk about unionization? As for the minimum wage part - I agree that people should be paid what they are worth (which likely isn't $15/hr for a lot of them) but the peanuts they get paid get them plenty of .gov bennies to make up for it! YAY!

Kindly keep it respectful, sir. You'll find a lot of Mormons are on the side of freedom - and preparedness (Along with a lot of Texans for that matter... ) And you'll also find a number of them are INGOer's as well.

Drove through Lima, OH - there's a closed Walmart there.

I don't care if they round me up, just don't send me to Ohio.
