Value of S&W 29-2 (.44 Mag) 6” with rubber grips

Need some help from the wheel gun experts. What’s this worth without the factory wood?

I would feel comfortable paying $1000 or so for it. If the nickel finish was applied at the factory, maybe $1100

6” model came upon the scene when S&W standardized barrel lengths in 1979 then in 1982 the 29-3 came into production. I would guess factory unblemished/non cloudy nickel without box, docs or factory grips $800-$900. Just my 2cents take it for whats it’s worth. The 6.5” version along with 4” will bring more in the same condition.
