So I tell my wife to order a Apex Trigger kit for my M&P 2.0.
She ordered one for a Shield 1.0 by mistake! Lucky I have a Shield 1.0 and since I am installing the trigger kit.
It has the base sights I want better night sights.
    What are the recommendations?

This is how a $300.00 pistol ends up having about $500.00 in it!

I have these on my Shield .45 and really like them. Ameriglo I-Dot Pro. They use Trijicon tritium inserts and are pretty reasonable.

I'm wearing my shield 9mm on my 4 o'clock right now chilling in my cabin in Gatlinburg. All factory. Would love to have different sights but as you mentioned, they're not straight forward swap

The gunsmith that installed the siights on my Shield said that he had to put the slide in the freezer for a little while in order to get the stock sights off. Helps to loosen them up, I guess.

Took my M&P Compact 2.0 to Kenny over at Bradis for Trijicon HD's. No issues, free install for buying the sights there, and he discounted the sights a bit.

Check out the Trijicon HD's for your Shield https://www.trijicon.com/na_en/products/product3.php?pid=SA139-C-600722

I like the orange ring on the front sight, as it really pops during the day, but the orange disappears in low light and let's the tritium take over, while the rear sights look like a blacked out sight during the day, but really pop with the tritium in low light.

Trijicon HDs are excellent sights! I've got them on my Glock 21 nightstand gun. They do cost about double what the Ameriglo sights do, though.

Glad to hear Bradis has an M&P armorer again. I used to bring my M&P work to Dave, but he's no longer there.

Yep, I would not have gone to Bradis except to see Kenny (simon6101 https://www.indianagunowners.com/forums/members/simon6101.html ). Previously I had not stepped foot back in there since Mark (Shooter521 https://www.indianagunowners.com/forums/members/shooter521.html ) left Bradis. I only go in there to see one of those guys for specific items (sights) or specific recommendations/opinions.
