ultrasonic cleaner

So I cleaned some brass for the first time in a ultrasonic cleaner. This unit also has a heater so I turned up the heat. I used the Hornady solution at 1/2 oz per 20 ounces of water. Now this was my first time using the ultrasonic so I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it turned out. What puzzled me though was a few pieces of the brass (.223 stuff) looks pink! Anyone ever get pink brass after using a ultrasonic? IS it defective? Besides the Hornady one shot juice, what is everyone else using? Thanks!

It is so it will work in a PINK gun ..... (wheres the purple )

Yeah, never thought about that! I'm surprised someone hasn't jumped onto that idea and sold it along side all those colorful guns!

If you tumble the cases afterwards, the pink tint will come off.
