I've got a crop of black walnut trees on my property and I'm not ready to sell the whole crop. The county is doing some work on my property this fall and I need to sell several of these trees. Was wondering who I could sell them to.

You need to find the going price then I'd get several firm commitments and take the one that you feel comfortable with. My buddy Paid a Timber Buyer to mark and list specific trees for sale and then sold to the highest bidder. He gained an extra 5,000 dollars over what the same tree outfits were quoting him and instead of a mass exodus of trees from his property. These Tree Outfits are like dealing with a car dealer, the less that they pay you the more they make. Set rules about damage to your property by their equipment & employees
