Stay away from East St Louis!

Budweiser used to give nice tours.
St Louis Science Center is interesting even for adults.
Grant's Farm was a nice lazy day.
Obviously the Arch, but don't forget about the surrounding area w/ museums and trails.

There are several gun/tactical stores in the area, especially just west of the city itself. Tactical ****, Allen Armory Arms and several others.

The Shaved Duck is a really good BBQ place, and I'm a BBQ snob.

Zoo is excellent, and free. Parking at Turtle Park is free and a very easy walk to the zoo

If you have kids, the City Museum is a kid's museum that's super cool.

Can't think of the name, but I'm sure you can Google it up if it interests you, there's a park full of large statutes and art you can walk through out on the west side that's neat.

Just before you cross out of Illinois, Blue Springs Cafe is a decent little family style restaurant with good fried chicken.

Big fan of the Soulard neighborhood. Lots of great bars/restaurants and plenty of live music. Oktoberfest there is always a good time.
