Wife wanted to go on a Bachelorette type of date, so I took her shooting!

This was her first time firing a larger caliber rifle too. Good times!

A little bigger than the .22LR!

    Getting serious....

Tin Man should have kept his ass on the Yellow Brick Road!

She had a great time and I am now in the plus column with Husband Points!!! :rockwoot:

On a side note: All guns pictured were lost in a freak boating accident shortly after our date.

I absolutely hate when that happens! Looks like it was a good date night!

I love going to the range with Hubby.
I have to admit at first I was very nervous about going. I didn't shoot much just watched Hubby. I think it was the 3rd or 4th time and then I had my own lane :):

Glad you guys had a good time!

That looks like fun! I'm lucky that my wife enjoys going to the range. In fact last year when I was planning our anniversary I was trying to come up with something, anything shooting related but struck out. I just couldn't find anything that would work. Afterwards i told her and she was bummed, said she would have loved to do something shooting related, aw!

Lucky man. Can't get my wife to show any interest in shooting at all. Sorry to hear about the boating accident. Lol

Have heart... Took a few years to even get my wife to HOLD a gun, a few more to actually Try, ( with some coxing from a female friend,) finally got her out with said female friend, a suppressed 22 pistol and another friends semi auto 22 rifle . Now she loves to kill zombie spiders. :ar15:

Just be patient, she will come around.

p.s. My wife also now is highly aware of why I carry after a road rage incident in which I had to help enraged driver understand he can not ram anothers vehicle just because he got a two horn warning for stopping with the hood of his car in my traffic lane..... :draw:

Same here, she will say she will go to the range with me but when it comes down to it she makes up a pretty lame excuse.

Couldn't that be construed as a forcible felony ? LOL.. hope she is still a proper person :):

Lol she's good to go. Plus now I have a reason to add more to the family :):. Friday she barely hit the paper if at all, then Saturday she barely missed it. The only time she she called me to her lane was to load the mag because her thumb hurt and say look what I did LOL. It was so cute. :)

I'm investing in speed loaders for this very reason :yesway:

Still.. sounds like she's really enjoying her new hobby :)

I need to get one for sure. I figured it was a rite of passage into the gun world though to put my thumbs through the pain, so I waited.

    She's lovin it now :):
