It's a "stand down" day for me every year. No squirrel hunting, no hiking/camping, no shooting except on a range. I yield the woods, for the next two weeks, y'all have fun now ya hear?

I shoot mostly from an elevated shack instead of a traditional tree stand, and at a steep downhill decline.
Private property so only me and my hunting party should be present on the premises.

I have spent a good deal of quality time in the woods prepping for the season and I'm hoping it will pay off.

I have spent a good deal of time prepping for the season and now I am spending a good deal of time ejecting uninvite 'guests'.

Stay safe and stay on the ground you have permission to hunt. What looks like a good hunting spot may be the impact zone for the lawful hunters...
