It's fall - moving into the Holiday season...

Time for another Wish List thread! WooHoo!

Not just any ol' wish list though - how about stuff that you actually have a shot at locating/affording/buying?

Sure - I'd like an MP5... But that isn't going to happen. So - it's not on the wish list.

Mine:


Handguns -
S&W M&P 22 MSRP ~ $400
Dan Wesson Guardian 9mm MSRP ~ $1550
9mm AR w/ Sig arm brace ~ $1500 all said and done, I'd imagine - I'd be buying parts piece-meal and building. Do want a 9mm dedicated upper, but will entertain thoughts of using a mag block.

Rifles -
Winchester Model 1892 Short in .357 Mag MSRP ~ $1070
Browning BL-22 Grade I MSRP ~ $620

Others -
9mm Suppressor ~$500-ish + $200 Excise Tax Stamp

Approximately $4140 + Indiana Sales Tax = $4430 + $200 Tax Stamp for a Grand Total of $4630 worth of stuff.


I'd say that's a rather modest wish list!

Why rule out the MP5? At $4600, you are in HK 94 territory. Full auto, real mp5, it's just a dream at this point, but I'll settle for a sbr clone.

My realistic wish list-

1. Ruger SR1911 CMD ~$650
2. S&W M&P 15 sport (dont have time to build an AR from scratch despite my desire to) ~$650
3. Remington 870 Marine Magnum 12 ga ~$650
4. MP5 clone with sig brace (cant afford a real MP5) I would get the Vector Arms or POF-5 clone ~$1500
5. Unlimited ammo for all of my firearms (Santa can do anything, right?) ~ $inifinite

As long as you're after a blackhawk, why not just go for an Apache? Or at least a Pave Hawk? But I like the way you think.

My immediate goal is working to buy back one of my Kimbers that I had sold a few years ago and have regretted ever since. Also on my list (hopefully within a year) is a Marlin or Winchester lever action .44 mag, with of course the big loop!

Hex Receiver Mosin Nagant
M&P 9mm FS w/ Apex trigger
My first AR-15*
AR-10*

*I'd like to build both of these myself but these things take time and money, two things I don't have enough of right now.

New stock for my AR (Ace skeleton, Magpul UBR or fixed carbine... so many choices...)
Get my M&P stippled or fix the grip tape that's peeling...
Whatever I need to refine my 3-gun belt rig

Long term (next year or so):
Semi auto shotgun tricked out for 3-gun (Benelli M2 or Stoeger M3000 for sure)
Dillon reloading set up for 9mm & .223
A 1911
Limited gun (want a 2011 but may start with a 5" M&P Pro)
