    DA is considered 'safe enough' from a trigger pull standpoint. Consider DAO pistols with no safeties and revolvers.

    SAO pistols such as 1911s, or cocked and locked pistols like my Taurus PT92, CZ75 etc should be carried on 'safe' because of their short, light trigger pull.
    Ah, was just curious. It's always been regarded that the stonger trigger is more difficult to pull in hostile situations and thus less likely to pull it when you don't really want to, but I don't necessarily agree with that 100%. I'm of the mindset that your finger/brain are your safeties, not any mechanical feature of the weapon. Just thought maybe you had a different reason by the sound of your previous post.
