    love it. being a "city boy" myself, and just recently getting into shooting seriously (29, i know, late start) i plan on learning to kill/clean small game myself this summer. seeing this just tells me its possible.

    I ate a bunch of Squirrel growing up, the Squirrels of Randolph County feared my dad. It's really pretty good. I wouldn't mind popping a couple right now that are raiding the wifes bird feeders, but an SKS might make a mess of things. :D

    That corned venison recipe is appealing, and I have a freezer full of axis meat.

    Though she titles it "Corned Axis Venison" and calls for Elk brisket in the ingredients. Axis ain't Elk and Elk ain't Axis. I'd be happy to provide her with first hand instruction, obviously.
