That brings back great memories. The Blaster was a constant for every war game we played and when we got too "grown up" to play war, the Blaster became our dog caller. The dog would come running after just one blast. Fun.

Along the lines of toys we can't ever have again...
Back when I was a kid there was a cannon in Grandma's basement... most of the parts were there and I wish to this day I knew who absconded with it... I believe this is it:

Back then I wanted all the pieces so it worked right (could half-ass fire it)

Now I just wonder how much it could be modified and what else it could launch!

    Edit:
There was also an old M60 with grenade launcher (that all the launchable grenades were missing from)...

Might see if I can find a pic of it too...

Pretty sure they were my dad and uncle's, lol. But they did have some cool toys back then.

Can't find a pic of that machine gun... I haven't seen it in probably 25 years but it was like some kind of M16+M60 love child with an underbarrel grenade launcher... Dad said at one time he thinks there was also a plastic belt of "linked" ammo that fed through as well.
They don't make them like that anymore...

    Johnny 7 One man army.

It's been so long but that might be it... really really similar... Think from looking at that pic there may have been some pieces broken off, like it was missing the bipod, and apparently the whole separate pistol that snapped in, but I think that could be... The Johnny Seven logo on the stock looks familiar...

I believe it had active rounds with a spring in the casing and the bullet snapped in and actualy fired.
