I don't want to be ridiculously overwhelmed when we return. I have a folder full of mail that needs processed and will have at least a 6 inch stack of envelopes to pick up Tuesday with more insurance payments. It's a terrible problem. LOL On the upside, I work alone when the office is closed and can ignore most of the phone calls. I get a lot more done.

Saw a guy get pulled over by ISP today. Looked like he handed out his license and temporary plate. I see so many cars without plates, or displayed in the rear window, even with heavily tinted windows. Trying to evade the bridge toll I guess.

They've backed off the rain forecast some more. No surprise there. Not going to be good conditions for setting off fireworks with everything being so dry.

Speaking of fireworks, I haven't been hearing them this year like I normally do. Usually it starts in early to mid June, but I've only heard a couple so far.

I had smoked sausage, eggs and fried potatoes this morning.
I had just put my eggs in when I had to go to the bathroom, so I flipped them and turned off the stove and then went. They were cooked done this morning

Speaking of fireworks, I haven't been hearing them this year like I normally do. Usually it starts in early to mid June, but I've only heard a couple so far.

That is probably having some effect. I haven't bought any in several years. I go to bed too early for it to get dark enough to enjoy them.
