YIKES! That's a real horror show for me. About the only thing I hate in the world are bees, wasps, hornets, etc. Snakes, spiders? Don't bother me at all. I'd rather take on a lion than some bees.

I wouldn't be so bothered by wasps/hornets/bees if it hadn't been for so many consistently negative experiences with them.

Hey DD you really need to check into some gutter covers, leaf guards, or whatever they're called. I haven't had a single issue with clogged gutters since they've been installed.

I think I've said this every year about this time. Hope someone will take my advice someday..

Morning all.

There were gutter “covers” on a vacation home we bought 25 years ago. Nightmare every year with pine needles, etc. stuck in them …catching more debris and reducing intake. Installed Leaf Guard gutters. Never had another issue. when we moved here already had clogged tile drains as prevuois owners removed screens on down spouts. Installed Leaf Guard gutters. Zero clogs. Can be an issue with freezing in winter depending on location. Heaters solved the problem. Newer products on market…no personal experience but have talked with owners that gave both good and bad reviews. All I know is I am done using ladders. Know too many seniors that have done severe damage to themselves involving ladder usage.

Morning guys. Just passing through. I need to go put out fresh feeders for the hummingbirds and fill the jelly for the orioles....change camera cards, etc. Starting to sort through stuff for the yard sale and getting laundry done.

Software training yesterday was a waste of time. I think the trainer was really just there to try to sell us on new features that involve monthly fees. If the features would actually help in some way, I'd say yay...let's do it but it doesn't sound like it is going to benefit us in any way to sign up for the services they were suggesting.

Our gardens have about every bee in the area. I do combat the carpenter bees up at the house and deck though.
