I'm going to my parents' to clean today. Trying to think of something I can take along to cook for their dinner tonight but I have a terrible time coming up with stuff they like that mom can eat. She has issues with swallowing and chewing most meat. Ground beef is her main thing.
In, up near Grand Rapids to see my daughter's team play. Hammond tomorrow. Definitely a soccer weekend.
Mom45, my mother used a food processor on roast beef and the like after my grandmother had a stroke. She could usually get it to a consistency which was palatable, but wasn't a choke risk.
Stromboli is good if I do say so myself! Probably could have cooked it just a couple minutes less since the bread crust got a little hard, but not bad.
The plan for the day got blown out. The original plan was to take the family to the Indy Zoo. My daughter had a couple of friends that were staying the night and were going with us. Last night, I awoke with eye pressure and sore thought. Went into the Dr. office and had the nose swab for the covid test. Come back as negative, just sinus drainage causing irritated thought.
Been super busy around here. Spent the morning cleaning out some of the garden stuff. Cleaned the last batch of beans. Finished up removing a window in the shop, getting it ready for an exhaust fan.
Now I'm getting ready to to put some burgers on the smoker
