Well I’m glad someone gets it off !
Tomorrow is my last day at the job I have now , so don’t really mind it.
I really want to go to work believe it or not cause I have patients I won’t see anymore and want to tell them I’m quitting for another job.
Gonna miss some of them , will probably go visit a few after I leave .
Never had Juneteenth off for 50yrs so tomorrow is no different .
I was informed that the Co. I retired from in March, is having a party for me next Thursday. WTF, just let it go.

I find your amount of caring amazing for this day and age. This what's missing in our society.

I truly have been torn about quitting just because I do care for most of the people I take care of and worry that they won’t be cared for like I c
I feel like I’m deserting them in a way. :(

getting to emotional had to delete parts of that

I would shovel their drives and shovel a path to their mail boxes.
Some I would take their trash out and bring their trash barrels back to the house for them.
Some have know one ! It’s really sad .

As Dr.Quinn says, "You shouldn't get that close to your patients."

That’s true , but when you have spent close to 7yrs with them it’s tuff my friend.
And then the ones you get real close to pass away it’s really hard emotionally .
And that is exactly why she "retired". Imagine a Dr. who delivered your sorry ass as an infant, and he was fresh out of school. That is a huge time frame.
