    Sounded like dude emptied his extendo! Almost sounded as there was a rifle being fired as well but I suppose it could sound louder due to proximity of the mike.

    The rifle you heard was the officer in the passenger seat of the grappler vehicle, if I'm not mistaken

    I wonder if that Grappler device is available to the general public??
    As to robbing dollar stores, there seems to be a lot of it (dollar stores specifically). There must be some kind of draw to a store like that, as opposed to 7-11, VP, gas stations, etc.

    Maybe they have less strict rules about how much money can have in the registers.
